In order to create the same concept of the animator, Berthold Bartosch, I had to use cutouts for my animation. The past where I got the smoothest movements was when the two characters got on the clouds and when they were throwing the logs around. In order to make the ams move smoother, I could not stick them together; therefore the are the only part that could move around freely. The people themselves, the clouds and the logs are also not stuck to the background so they can move around freely. This helps because they need to move around in the animation. Everything else that is in the animation is held together by another piece in the film because they aren’t supposed to move at all in the animation.
